To Find Out or Not to Find Out That is the Question!

Okay if you read my last post then you know that we have a stubborn baby who refused to let us see whether or not it was a he or she. So now the debate in our house is waiting till birth day to find out or finding out at my next ultrasound. My hubbie has been pretty set since the day of the ultrasound that we should wait until the baby is born to find out. I have gone back and forth it would be kinda of neat to wait and see what we are having but then again I really would like to know if we are having a girl. And my neighbor is planning on throwing me a baby shower and it would be helpful to know what we are having so we can get gifts accordingly. So here is the question I pose to my blog readers to find out or not to find out. Drop me a comment and tell me and give me your reasons for pro finding out or con finding out. Can't wait to see the answers!!

Hey, I've never been to your blog! :) Nice. I meant to tell you on facebook what we did. When I was pregnant with Ashlyn, our first, I didn't want to find out and Bill did. So we took turns, and I got to go first since I was doing more work. :) It was super fun to be surprised with the first since we had to buy all the baby stuff anyway. And she wore a lot of green and yellow as a newborn which was fine. Then with Adison we found out. I thought it was fun to do it both ways! And once you have the baby, people will give you clothes and gifts for the proper sex of your baby anyway. So that is my story. :)

Well I'm a big planner so I had to totally find out. It was nice to have the room themed blue instead of yellow or green. Plus if you find out, I'll know whether to buy pink or blue BEFORE the baby comes!

The big debate! I wish I had the patience to wait to find out when he was born - but I didn't! I had to plan and personally don't like yellow and green clothing. :)

I liked knowing in advance. Maybe for a lack of patience??? Anyway, I figure it's a surprise either way! :)

I was so glad I didn't know with any of the boys...it is one of the only TRUE surprises in life. I think your baby was sending you a message to wait :) That's a tough decision...good luck! love ya..Anne

make it a surprise! it's not like you're the first woman on earth who has ran into this shower query! People get around it everyday! That's what yellow and green are for! I say WAIT!

Evy was a surprise and I loved it! It drove everyone crazy (especially my mom!) but didn't bother us a bit! And, no, her room wasn't yellow or green. It was red and blue with white bunnies. We'll hopefully get to use it for #2. That's another bonus. B/c everything we got was neutral, we can use it all again! Not everything has to be ducks!!
It's fun to be surprised!
